Smashed window and broken furniture litter Brazil's Congress after it was stormed

Overturned furniture, papers and other debris could be seen in the videos posted on social media of the inside of Brazil's Congress.

Brazilian President Lula da Silva has declared a federal security intervention in Brasilia after supporters of far-right former President Jair Bolsonaro invaded the country's Congress, presidential palace and Supreme Court.
