Now, there's sustained peace in Assam's Kokrajhar after a 2020 peace accord. Where the Army once used to carry out massive operations against the ethnic Bodo insurgents, today they have turned it into a venue for the Durand Cup. Even a club from Bodoland is participating in the tournament this time.
