Euro 2028: UK and Ireland win bid to host football tournament

The UK and Ireland will host the 2028 European Championship, UEFA has confirmed.

All five nations will host matches throughout the men's football competition.

The joint bid ran unopposed after Turkey pulled out to focus on a bid with Italy for Euro 2032, which was also confirmed at a meeting in Switzerland.
