The shadow Home Secretary has criticised Priti Patel and her Rwanda migrant plan, saying she is asking them to make decisions which she is "not capable" of making herself.

Yvette Cooper called the plans "unworkable, unethical and extortionate" and also challenged the Home Secretary on failing to crack down on criminal gangs and making it "easier" for people smugglers.

Priti Patel responded to the criticism by highlighting Labour's track record on asylum seekers and how they were unable to come up with a solution.
