Russian missiles hit a five-story residential building in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine on Tuesday morning killing at least 10 people, and wounding at least 28.

The devastation in Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s hometown is the latest bloodshed in Russia’s war in Ukraine — which began in February 2022.

The strike follows the beginning of Ukrainian forces’ counteroffensive operations using Western-supplied firepower to drive out the Russian forces and liberate their own country.

Though he has not yet addressed the attack, footage from the aftermath was shared by Zelenskyy on his official Telegram channel. Video showed firefighters battling the blaze as pockets of fire poked through multiple broken windows of a building.
