Russia claims Ukraine hit fuel depot in Belgorod, says it could jeopardize talks

Russia accused Ukraine on Friday of carrying out an airstrike against a fuel depot in the Russian city of Belgorod, which it says could jeopardize peace talks with Kyiv.

Video footage released shows what appears to be flashes in the sky followed by a bright light near the depot. Reuters verified the location of the footage in an area close to the depot and it carries a timestamp matching other reports of the incident.

Ukraine's foreign minister, Dmytro Kuleba, said in Poland on Friday that he could neither confirm nor deny the reports of Ukrainian involvement as he did not have military information.
