Angry relatives blamed Russia on Saturday for the destruction of a prison in Olenivka, Donetsk, killing dozens of Ukrainian prisoners of war (POW).

Moscow and Kyiv have each accused the other of launching the missile strike or explosion on July 29 that destroyed the prison building.

The deaths, some of which were confirmed by Reuters journalists at the prison where the men were held in eastern Donetsk province, overshadowed a U.N.-brokered deal to restart shipping grain from Ukraine and ease a worldwide food crisis.

The relatives gathered in Kyiv and demanded justice for their loved ones.
