More than half of the 11,000 Palestinians in Israeli custody were detained after October 7.
They enter a prison system described by rights groups as a “vigilante organisation operating entirely outside both law and ethics”.
On Monday, a 23-year-old man from Nablus became the latest Palestinian to die in an Israeli prison.
