Over the weekend, there were numerous protests in Toronto, causing disruptions to public events.

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators interrupted a free skate event hosted by Mayor Olivia Chow on Sunday, calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict. The crowd shouted at the mayor as she attempted to continue with her remarks.

In another incident, Toronto police officers were seen handing over coffee and treats to protestors, which sparked controversy.
