Almost a week after pro-Palestinian protests in Toronto, police issued a warning for this weekend. Authorities say they’re prepared to take more action if protests get out of hand.
They also deny that their approach has become more aggressive in recent weeks. One of Toronto’s deputy police chief’s told reporters Friday there may be more arrests at the protests. But organizers say police got aggressive.
The bill for policing the protests has climbed to $12 million with $4.6 million spent on overtime.
Global's Sean O’Shea reports.
