A brewery in Bowmanville, Ont., is receiving hundreds of online threats and other backlash after hosting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the invitation of a local Liberal candidate.
Chris Aucoin, owner of The Brewer’s Pantry, says he received negative Google reviews, offensive emails and phone calls after the prime minister visited his business.
“I guess I’m the most hated man in Canada… It’s hard to get that out of your head,” Aucoin says.
As Lexy Benedict reports, despite all the hate pouring in, he says it’s the support from the local community that keeps him going.
