In this week's episode of The West Block: Mercedes Stephenson sits down with Mohammed Hashim, executive director of Canadian Race Relations Foundation, to speak about intolerance and hate in Canada following the hate-Motivated attack on a Muslim family in London, Ont. that left fou dead.

He says, “hate is actually fear turned into extreme violence. And what we're seeing is that fear is being fuelled dramatically, especially online.”

and U.S. congressman and co-chair of the Northern Border Caucus Brian Higgins joins The West Block to talk about calls to reopen the Canada-U.S. border.

Higgins says, “The president has said clearly to me, and more broadly, that he wants to get the border open, or get Americans back to a sense of normalcy, by July fourth.

Plus, Green Party Leader Annamie Paul joins Mercedes Stephenson in the wake of former Green MP Jenica Atwin crossing the floor over to the Liberals.

With only two MPs left in the caucus, Paul is asked about the future of her leadership.
