Ontario expands online COVID-19 vaccine booking for 18+ in hot spots

Ontarians flocked to the province's online COVID-19 vaccine booking website early on Monday as eligibility expanded to include people 18 years and older in 114 "hot spot" postal codes.

Experts say it's one more step forward in getting as many shots in arms as possible – but it was a mad dash for people to secure a time slot. The bookings were a mixture of successes and failures for that sought-after appointment. Some also, while being able to book, will have to travel in order to get their shot as nearby locations were already booked.

Katherine Ward spoke with some about their experiences booking and what is to come for the province's rollout.
