Omicron Fears: Does India Need Booster Vaccine Doses?

Omicron cases in India rose to 38 after Andhra Pradesh, Chandigarh and Kerala reported their first infections and Maharashtra and Karnataka also recorded one each of the latest coronavirus variant on Sunday. In England, Booster jabs will be offered to everyone over 18 from this week, the PM has announced, as he declared an "Omicron emergency". Does India need to do the same?
