Speaking to journalists in East Palestine, Ohio, on Tuesday, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) administrator Debra Shore provided an update on the Trace Atmospheric Gas Analyzer (TAGA) mobile laboratories and the chemicals that are being tested.

“We found no exceedances of all the organic chemicals in the air testing we’ve done inside more than 570 homes,” Shore said. “There’s a whole suite of chemicals that they can test for.”

According to authorities, the air monitoring quality information and more ongoing updates can be found online.

Officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and EPA will be holding daily updates.
