Nurses will strike again at the end of the month after rejecting the government's pay offer.

Unlike previous strikes, the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) says it will not provide cover for emergency care and cancer treatment.

When asked about the NHS strikes, Labour's Thangam Debbonaire told Sky News she understands why NHS staff are "fed up and pushed to the edge."

Ms Debbonaire urged Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to sort out the situation, adding Labour's solution would be to invest in the NHS workforce to expand it.
