Shadow Armed Forces Minister Luke Pollard praised the "brilliant" NHS as he recounted his deeply personal experience of being treated for cancer by the health service.

Mr Pollard had huge praise in particular for the NHS staff, from the reception staff to the doctors that did his surgery.
