Families, charities and MPs have all criticised the lack of clinical trials and brain tumour research in the UK. Many families have now begun looking abroad for alternative treatment.

Sky's Rachael Venables has been speaking to a family who managed to raise a quarter of a million pounds to extend their daughter's life.
