It was touted as a NATO summit of superlatives, signaling the unity and strength of the alliance. But how united is the alliance really? There have been a lot of doubts about that of late.

NATO wants to be prepared to counter the new main enemy, Russia, with more money, more soldiers and more weapons. The alliance also wants to continue growing: Sweden will now join.

And Ukraine? Perhaps one day. That was disappointing for Kiev, but it will receive more weapons instead - including banned weapons, like cluster munitions.

This is meant to ensure that the Ukrainian counter-offensive will succeed. We ask: NATO and the War: No Security for Ukraine?

Our guests: Alexander Gabuev, Director of Carnegie Russia Eurasia Centre;

Marcus Keupp, Chair of Defence Economics at the Military Academy at ETH Zurich;

Sudha David-Wilp, Director of the Berlin office of the German Marshal Fund.
