Azerbaijan and Turkey held a military parade in Baku on Thursday to celebrate their territorial gains in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region, displaying destroyed Armenian military vehicles seized in the fighting.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev watched the parade in Baku, and made remarks on the war against Armenian forces in and around Nagorno-Karabakh.

"If Armenian fascism emerges again, the outcome will be the same. Azerbaijan will once again break their back with its iron fist" Aliyev said during a speech at the parade.

Six weeks of fighting was brought to a halt last month after Russian peacekeeping troops deployed to the mountainous enclave under a deal that locked in the territorial gains by Azerbaijan.
