After 24 hours of intensive bombardment, the President of Azerbaijan claims it has restored its sovereignty "with an iron fist" over Nagorno-Karabakh.

The disputed enclave lies within - and is internationally recognised as part - of Azerbaijan but has been administered by the ethnic Armenian majority there.

They said at least 200 people have been killed in the fighting, 10 of whom were civilians.
