Amid the violent conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the disputed region, the separatist government of Nagorno-Karabakh has announced it will dissolve itself and that the republic will "cease to exist."

The territory is internationally recognized as being part of Azerbaijan, but has been run by ethnic Armenians for decades.

But as Crystal Goomansingh reports, Armenia says more than half the region's population of 120,000 people has already fled, leaving a growing humanitarian crisis.
