Education minister Robert Halfon has repeatedly refused to confirm that Rishi Sunak has confidence in Home Secretary Suella Braverman in the wake of her divisive newspaper article.

Downing Street said yesterday that Mr Sunak had "full confidence" in the minister but, when asked, Mr Halfon refused to repeat this.
