Keir Starmer will be Britain's next prime minister with his center-left Labour Party expected to win a huge majority in a parliamentary election, ending 14 years of often tumultuous Conservative government by trouncing Rishi Sunak's party.

Rishi Sunak will travel to see King Charles to tender his resignation before Keir Starmer meets with the Monarch, who will request he form a government. Starmer will then head to Downing Street to make a speech to the British public as the new prime minister.
