In Scotland, people are continuing to file past Queen Elizabeth's coffin at St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh. Many have queued through the night.

The coffin will remain at the cathedral until 1600 GMT, before being flown to London, accompanied by the queen's daughter Princess Anne. It will then travel by road to Buckingham Palace, where it will be met by the King and Camilla, as well as other members of the royal family.

Earlier King Charles and the queen consort will fly to Belfast. At Hillsborough Castle, they will meet the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Chris Heaton-Harris, and party leaders. Members of the Northern Ireland Assembly will express their condolences, after which there will be a prayer service at St Anne's Cathedral. Before the service, King Charles will meet leaders from all the major faiths in Northern Ireland. British Prime Minister Liz Truss will accompany the king.
