Lib Dems: '10 water companies paid no tax in the last financial year'

Liberal Democrat research shows 10 water companies paid no tax in the last financial year - equal to a £100m tax cut - which Sir Ed Davey labelled as "just wrong".

He said our rivers and waterways have been left polluted with sewage "which the Conservatives seem to have allowed".

He called for the government to "get tougher" on these companies rather than "taking away the protections that are there".
