England's Chief Medical Officer has warned people against swimming or even paddling in rivers this summer. Chris Whitty said even when sewage plants are working properly they're still releasing harmful bacteria into the water that could make people ill.

It comes as the UK River Summit & Festival brings together environmentalists, businesses and members of the public to discuss the state of the UK's rivers.
Ruben Reuter went along to challenge the water minister on what he's doing about it.
