Lib Dems to spend £10m recruiting 'sewage busters' to tackle polluted water

Liberal Democrat Layla Moran reveals her party's plans to crack down on water pollution and a pledge to recruit 100 new water quality inspectors.

The Liberal Democrats have announced a £10m plan to recruit sewage inspectors to tackle the issue of polluted water, saying: "One of the reasons why we got here in the first place, is the fact that water companies have been allowed to mark their own homework".
