Labour refuses to say what pay it would offer to nurses

Labour has again refused to say what pay rise it would offer to nurses if they were in power.

Party chair Anneliese Dodds repeated her party's line that their approach would be to negotiate with the unions on pay - something the government is not doing.

She told Sky News: "What we would do is we would negotiate. We wouldn't be doing what the Conservatives have done - yesterday they sent one of their health ministers out on the airwaves precisely to say that they wouldn't negotiate for it."
