Strikes: 'Govt acting hostile to nurses' says Labour

The UK’s biggest nursing union, the RCN, is reportedly preparing to expand its industrial action by asking nurses from emergency departments and other services to join the next round of strikes.

Labour's Deputy Leader Angela Rayner told Sky News the UK is in this position because of the government's "hostile" approach to nurses.

"No nurse wants to take industrial action," she added.
