King Charles coronation: 'Hello Canada!' releases never-before-seen photos of young monarch

In the countdown to King Charles' coronation, 'Hello! Canada' has released a special issue with some never-before-seen photos of the young monarch. Hello! Canada’s editor-in-chief, Alison Eastwood, explains the significance of the images and offers insight into the King's upcoming crowning moment.

"It's King Charles behind the scenes of his investiture as Prince of Wales, which was in 1969," Eastwood tells The Morning Show. "And what's really cool is you can see powder being applied to his face by Grace Coddington, who went on to be the creative director at 'Vogue'."

Eastwood adds that "The Palace has opened its archives and we have these pictures of these never-seen-before pieces – which have been stored in the dark, in the acid-free boxes."
