King Charles Coronation: Who will represent Canada at the royal celebration?

Reporting from London, U.K., two days prior to the coronation of King Charles III, Global's royal correspondent Bonnie Brownlee reveals who will comprise the Canadian delegation, including the recently-announced flag bearer, who will lead the trio.

The coronation will take place at Westminster Abbey in London on Saturday, with processions planned between Buckingham Palace and the abbey before and after the ceremony. As part of the service, the Canadian delegation, in particular, will participate in a procession of recipients of national honours.

King Charles will be crowned alongside his wife, Camilla. Charles ascended to the throne following the Sept. 8, 2022 death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II – the first coronation of a British monarch in 70 years.
