Israel: Labour 'unequivocally condemns' attacks in the country

Shadow health secretary Wes Streeting says it is "important we stand with Israel" and that the Labour party "unequivocally condemns the violence" - referring to the surprise attack by Hamas militants on the country.

Mr Streeting also rejected the assertion that Labour was "too timid" and outlined a number of proposals by Labour in the NHS and schools.
