Pope Francis is set to visit the city of Iqaluit, Nunavut as the last stop on his Canadian tour to seek reconciliation with Indigenous communities over the Church's role in residential schools and generations of atrocities.
But after the revelation of unmarked graves at those institutions, Canada’s most northern city has also unanimously passed a bylaw requiring churches to pay taxes.
