'Immigration system has to be controlled', says Labour

Shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper says Labour would curb migration numbers by working with different sectors across the UK to "curb" skill shortages.

Ms Cooper called the Conservatives' approach "chaotic", saying they have "failed to tackle skills shortages".
