Labour on Immigration: Tories have 'no plan and no grip'

Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has accused the government of having "no plan and no grip" on immigration as she asked an Urgent Question in the Commons.

Ms Cooper then asked "where is the Home Secretary?" and "what is the point of her?" - as she took aim at the party's immigration policy.

The question was taken by Immigration Minister Robert Jenrick, who said the stats indicate that net migration has "flatlined", before stressing that "decisive action" is being taken.
