How to prevent climate change in the UK

Head of the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit Jess Ralston has addressed the government's plan to achieve greater energy independence saying it "falls short of what the renewables industry was calling for".

In terms of developing a net zero strategy, which the government has been told should be reached within 10 years, Ms Ralston says that heat waves, droughts and flooding "will get worse" in the UK.
