Daily Climate Show: UK has been 'too slow' on climate change, warns watchdog

The UK's Climate watchdog has warned the government that they've been too slow to address the challenges of climate change - and will now need to invest billions of pounds to prepare for the impact of a warming climate.

The independent Climate Change Committee says that £10bn a year will be required as part of a major programme of investment to prepare the UK for the effects of climate change.
