Health Secretary: 'We want humanitarian pause to continue' | Israel-Hamas war

Heath secretary Victoria Atkins MP says that the government wants to see the humanitarian pause in Gaza to continue.

Ms Atkins says that the UK government "absolutely supports Israel's right to defend itself", but that the world expect the "only democracy in the middle east to work within international law".

Responding to a comment piece by Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer in The Sunday Telegraph where he praised Margaret Thatcher for effecting "meaningful change" in the UK, Ms Atkins used one of the former PM's trademark phrases "no, no, no!".
