Millions of Muslims from around the world have converged on Mecca, in Saudi Arabia, for the Hajj pilgrimage.
The religious holiday includes a ritual, where pilgrims throw pebbles at three walls, symbolising the stoning of the devil.
But extreme heat has been an issue.
