Government 'moving backwards' on oil and gas - Labour chair

Shadow Women and Equalities Secretary Anneliese Dodds says producing gas domestically does not reduce the global price, which we are "tethered" to "because we've not seen the development of renewables that would have provided far, far cheaper energy".

Ms Dodds added: "It's really frustrating that the Conservatives are pulling us back at the moment".
