In our top story: The city of Vancouver, B.C., is on edge this weekend as police are alerting the public about another unprovoked attack. This one took place during the city's Pride weekend and is being investigated as a hate crime. Attacks on strangers appear to be on the rise in the West Coast city, with more than 10 a month reported to police since March. Catherine Urquhart reports.

On both sides of the border, inflation continues to hit people's pocketbooks. In the U.S., Americans are looking for a break but it's unlikely to happen anytime soon. Jennifer Johnson explains.
