Israel is now facing an outbreak of violence on its northern border with Lebanon as it fights Palestinian Islamist terror group Hamas in the south.

Since Sunday, the Iran-backed Hezbollah group has fired both precision missiles and rockets at Israeli military positions and towns. Israel responded with a barrage of artillery fire on southern Lebanese towns. ⁣
