Gabby Petito case: Father during funeral says daughter "genuinely loved people"

Gabby Petito's father Joseph spoke about how he's remembering his daughter during a funeral service in Holbrook, N.Y., on Sunday, saying she was "the most amazing person I've ever met" and asked people not to be sad about her passing as "Gabby didn't live that way."

"I'm asking that you guys be inspired by the way she treated people. All people," he told those in attendance. "Love knows no gender. Love knows no bounds. She didn't care. She genuinely loved people."

Petito's remains were found in a Wyoming national park last weekend. She and her fiancé Brian Laundrie had gone on a cross-country trip in August, but only Laundrie returned home Sept. 1. She was reported missing 10 days later, while Laundrie has since gone missing and authorities have issued a search and arrest warrant.
