"No trespassing" signs were placed around the perimeter of the Laundrie home on Saturday.

This comes just days after Brian Laundrie’s remains were found in the Florida wilderness.

He was the fiancée of travel blogger Gabby Petito, whose body was discovered on Sept. 19. Medical examiners found she had been strangled.

Laundrie’s remains were located on Wednesday in the swampy Carlton Reserve not far from his parents' home.

Police and FBI agents had been searching for him since he was reported missing in mid-September. He had been named a "person of interest" in Petito's death, but was never charged.

Her disappearance in late August during a cross-country "van life" road trip with Laundrie was followed closely by media and the public as the case became an internet phenomenon and then a tabloid mystery.
