West Midlands Police stands accused of misogyny, discrimination and claims of a predatory culture at the heart of its firearms unit.

Rebecca Kalam, a detective inspector with the force until July, told Channel 4 News that her former employers had failed to properly investigate and challenge those involved in alleged crimes and toxic behaviours.

In an exclusive interview with this programme, she says she’s breaking her silence over fears, in her words, that "we'll end up with another Wayne Couzens", who murdered Sarah Everard.
