Cyclone Freddy: Deadly landslides and floods grip southern Africa

Tropical Cyclone Freddy has returned to tear through southern Africa in a rare second landfall, which has killed at least 219 people in Malawi and Mozambique.

Malawi's President Lazarus Chakwera declared a “state of disaster” in the south of the country.

After barrelling through both nations displacing thousands of people, the cyclone is set to move away from land bringing some relief to areas ravaged by torrential rain and winds.
