CSIS watchdog flags “gaps” in flow of information

There are serious "gaps" in the way CSIS, the RCMP, and other federal security agencies and departments shared intelligence about foreign interference by China between 2018 and 2023.

The criticism comes from a new report issued by the National Security and Intelligence Review Agency (NSIRA).

As David Akin explains, it appears CSIS and the information gatekeepers at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's office did not see eye-to-eye.
