Chris Aylward, the national president of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) spoke at a press conference on Wednesday, demanding a "fair deal" from the Canadian government and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), after claiming they did not have a full mandate to address wages and other core issues of the union.

Speaking on behalf of 35,000 union members—still walking picket lines for the last two weeks—Aylward added, "if we do not see a fair offer put on the table today, we will be at the Liberal Party of Canada convention in Ottawa tomorrow."

"Millions more are on the hook as the employer, the Canada Revenue Agency and this government continues to play games at the negotiating table," Chris Aylward, national president of PSAC said.
