Covid-19 Vaccine: Tamil Nadu Among States With Low Vaccination Rate, 9% Given First Dose

Covid-19 Vaccine: Despite its robust healthcare system, Tamil Nadu lags behind in vaccination. Only 10.3% of its population has taken at least one dose. The state has joined the list of poor performing states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. Over the last two days, the state literally turned Covid vaccine dry till fresh supplies landed. NDTV's Sam Daniel spoke to Tamil Nadu Health Secretary Dr J Radhakrishnan on low vaccination, high mortality and on some estimates giving a much higher death count in Chennai.
